Saic Group authorities have launched a state-of-the-art Placement Cell with the help of STEP for placement or job benefits. The main task of the Placement Cell is to arrange quality jobs for the advanced students by establishing close relations with the reputed industries of the country and abroad.
- Collecting and listing resumes, phone numbers, e-mail addresses of technology-based students
- The list is given on the website and updated regularly
- Communicate with potential employers, factories and act as a source of employment.
- Assess labor market demand. To create and supply skilled manpower accordingly.
- Organizing placement fair.
- Bringing out magazine about placement. There, the names, addresses, potential employers of the skilled students, publication of the list of factories and ways to get good jobs.
- Arranging study tour and hands-on training for students in reputed mill factories.
- Inviting senior officials of factories as guest lecturers as part of increasing industry linkage. Encouraging their active participation in meetings, seminars.
- Assisting in finding, coordinating communications, guiding and joining overseas job sites.
- Establishing a list of alumni of the institution, collecting information about their workplaces and encouraging current students to advise and assist them in getting employment.
